First impressions. First impressions matter in conversations, in relationships and in classrooms. Join this 90 minute interactive session led by the Ohio Writing Project (OWP) to think about and design the first days of your classroom. Participants will discuss to role of the first days in creating classroom culture, practice strategies for starting a year, and have time to sketch out a plan to create the first impression and the literacy classroom you want for students.
