Using the book A Mindset for Learning by Christine Hertz and Kristi Mraz, this session will be an introduction to mindset work with students and the importance of these learner attributes: resilience, optimism, flexibility, persistence, and empathy.  We will delve into the background of these stances and how powerful it is for students to learn how to use these in the classroom and beyond.  Introduction of how to best support students in acquiring these learner attributes will also be covered.
