This session will focus on the four year journey, and plans for the upcoming school year, of a first and second grade primary building that uses data based flexible grouping strategies to increase individual student growth. Multiple flexible grouping models will be discussed as a solution to addressing the needs of diverse learners with limited resources. Attendees will gain an understanding of all phases of the flexible grouping cycle which includes progress monitoring (F&P, DIBELS, MAP, Common Assessments), teacher-led data meetings, principal-led data meetings, data tracking tools, and individual student problem-solving sessions.
